A Community Brand:
One Family Productions
Overview
One Family Productions’ brand identity began with a focus on community, music, and the Blue Ridge Mountains. As a small organization with a strong presence in Southwest Virginia, the brand needed to feel rooted and approachable while still flexible enough to support a range of programming without losing consistency.
The process began with conversations with board members and a survey to better understand how the organization is seen within the community. From that input, I developed a primary logo and brand direction centered on clarity, warmth, and a color palette drawn from the Blue Ridge landscape. I then expanded the system across a website, social media and email templates, brochures, and merchandise to support day-to-day communication and outreach.
I also designed a secondary logo for Grassroots Grants, a program within the organization. Like the main brand, it needed to feel friendly and community-focused while clearly fitting within the larger One Family identity. The result is a flexible set of marks and materials that work together across platforms and help the organization tell a consistent story about its role in Stuart and the surrounding region.
